Alliance Marketing was formed by the merger of two well known Upstate New York agencies, Sofferin Associates and Brown Marketing. Steve Sofferin, Dan Brown, and their associates bring over 100 years of combined selling experience to the Sanitary Supply and Food Service Disposables industries.
Steve Sofferin has been a Manufacturers Representative since starting his company in Southern California in 1981. Dan Brown has a rich and diverse industry background including Distributor Sales Management, Regional Sales Management, and Agency Principal.
Alliance Marketing has offices in Buffalo, New York - Syracuse New York - and Toronto, Ontario. The Company's cross-border commitment includes a bundle of value-added services including the operation of a forward warehouse.
"We facilitate the flow of product from U.S. Manufacturers in a totally transparent environment. Canadian distributors and their customers never enter in to the import/export process. We put our manufacturers on the same level playing field as their international competitors."
Alliance Marketing operates with product focus in both the Janitorial Supply and Food Service Packaging industries. "This diversity allows us to achieve significant crossover sales gains for our manufacturers and distributors."
In October of 2005, Alliance Marketing entered into an agreement with Fortuna Sales & Management to represent its' foodservice disposables and jan-san product lines to broadline foodservice distributors across Upstate New York. This combination of companies has produced the first statewide sales team to offer a full line of foodservice needs from groceries to disposables. Fortuna Sales & Marketing is recognized as the premier full line Food Service and Retail Perishable brokerage in Upstate New York. Headquartered in Buffalo, NY, with regional offices in Syracuse and Albany, Fortuna generates over $180,000,000.00 in sales annually.
Steve Sofferin and Dan Brown are
equally excited about the partnership. "This is an
excellent opportunity to merge the best attributes of the food broker, with
those of the non-food agency, to offer the best possible coverage to our
manufacturers, distributors, and the end user."
